Our chemical blending facility is designed to minimise environmental impact, with dedicated chemical disposal systems, contained storage areas, and zero-discharge processing standards. Through our water treatment chemicals division, we help clients manage produced water more sustainably — reducing disposal volumes and enabling reinjection where possible. Black Gold’s Liquid Mud Plant further reduces waste by recycling and conditioning drilling fluids in a closed-loop model that lowers environmental footprint.
Safety
Safety is the foundation of our operations. We hold ourselves and our contracting teams to international HSE standards, with a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices. Our well services crews undergo rigorous safety training, our chemical handling procedures follow international guidelines, and our tools and equipment meet or exceed applicable industry standards.
In-Country Value (ICV)
Biyaq is proud to be 100% Omani-owned and to support Oman’s national ICV objectives. By manufacturing chemicals locally, operating the GCC’s largest LMP on Omani soil, and maintaining a workforce with high Omanization ratios, we contribute directly to the economic diversification and skills development goals of Vision 2040.
